So, I am busy getting ready just like everyone else!  I spent the day at the grocery store and then i decided to take my friends cookies and little gifts.  Then, i decided to take anna to the local park to drive!  We had a blast and she learned to drive and park and all of that good stuff.  Yes, she is only 14 1/2 (if you ask her), but i thought, hey, this will be fun and she is quite coordinated and so “no sweat”!  She did really good, she is a natural and we had fun with it sleeting and her all by herself in the park driving around!!  ha!  Now, i think that we are going to dinner and then Mark is taking them shopping, he just returned last night from Pennsylvania.  Maybe i will tag along and just go and sit at Starbucks and people watch while they shop!!  Ok, do not forget the freezing cold animals outside, leave them a chicken carcass in the woods or throw some extra seed out side, okay??  I always leave the carcass in the woods for them to find because hey, lets face it, that is a feast to come upon ya know???  enjoy this video and after christmas i will be busy making beads to get ready for the feb trunk show at Yelton’s!!!  Lots of beads for all to enjoy!!!!!  take care, and stay warm!!!  Oh, and give someone you love a hug and maybe someone who is down and out!!!!

Well, whatever it was is now gone and i have a new lease on life.  Thank goodness, i really need to get to the mall today for christmas shopping.  Beads are at Yelton’s, Finally!!!  My wonderful mother came yesterday with her chicken noodle soup, did some grocery shopping for me, picked up Anna and took my beads to yelton’s.  She is a sweetheart and it helped me tremendously because as any of you know, when it is coming out both ends you really need to sleep and let it work itself out of your system.  Sooooooo, go take a look at the new beads.  There are no pics of those because i was too sick to take them but here are three beads that are for christmas presents.  Enjoy!

The outside light is not great for taking pictures today, but i just love the colors in this bead, and it is quite big as well.  I hope she likes it!!!  Oh, the color in there with the purples is coral, not red!  Not to worry though, i now have a great camera and will learn how to take great pics of my beads.  Stay tuned!!

You cannot really see how cool this bead is.  However, the complex cane i made to use in this bead is just so pretty in itself that i could not bring myself to put anything on the surface of the bead.  it is so organic, and just interesting.  Hey, there is one at Yelton’s!!!!!  Hurry!!!!!  It is called “Understated Beauty” and it looks so good with all of the browns and neutral Troll beads.  it would look great hanging on a Fantasy necklace!!!

So, i just dropped off my daughter to school and i am going back to bed.  the beads are not at yelton’s yet, i am planning on sleeping some more and then going there later.  they were supposed to be there wednesday.  I have a bug that is still giving me fits.  talk soon

So, here is the story.  Our anniversary was Friday and we got each other a card and had said that we were not going to really get each other anything because we have had some bigger expenses lately, and some have been fun for us, hee hee~~  Anyhoo, we went to the neighbor christmas party in which we get around thirty dollar presents for two people, one a girl and one a boy present.  Then we play the stealing game~ (it is dark again and i keep hitting the squiggle line again)~  So, we pick cards to see in which order we go and I get the king, they used cards, so i have all of the power~~  i get to steal from anyone who has gone before me unless a particular gift has been stolen three times.  This makes the gift null and void for more stealing and the person who has stolen it on the third try gets it, simple as that right?  Well, so i watch the night unfold, now remember there is a mans game and a womens game.  It finally gets to me and there is a big box of which none of the women have taken.  I do not want it, i want Carol’s gift.  However, Cathy behind me says “Oh, don’t take her gift, she really likes it”, and i am like, are you kidding me?  You stole twice from someone and every good woman knows not to get in the way of another woman’s wants and likes, right?  Then i look at Carol and she gives me this little sad face and i think to myself, “oh my gosh, this is not happening right now, i have the power and they are playing a guilt trip on me.  I want my gift and darn them all to HE….double toothpicks~~  Well, Jill (who’s house it is at), says to me “steph, just take the big box because we all want to know what is in it”.  UHHHHHHH, hello?  Why did none of you take it then?  Well, being the nice girl i am, well, not my thoughts at the moment, i take the gift and open it.  I dig way down into the big box, wait, doesn’t the big box always have something little in it or a brick or something to make it feel heavy, when really it is a crappy present?  Ok, back to the story…I see a camera case, and i am thinking, “is that really a camera case”?  Then i see a Rebel DSLR camera that is really expensive, ohhhhhhh, brain malfunction…..I really think “oh my gosh, someone has given a really expensive camera and you know what?  I really want one and have been looking at them for about six months, how did i get so lucky?  Freeze frame of my face=REALLY DUMB EXPRESSION~~~~  This is when Mark stepped in and came up behind me and kissed me on the cheek and said “Happy Anniversary Honey”~~  Yaaaaaaaaahooooooooo, I have a great camera and can take good pictures of my beads and Anna’s sports, etc.  Flash Forward…….

It has been a while, I still do not have my shopping even started, ugh!!  I have been making beads for lots of orders and oh my, i have torch on the brain that is for sure!!  But, i am taking a break come Thursday to put my Christmas together!   It has just started snowing outside and that means my torching will come to a short halt and the Christmas season is beginning for me.  It is beginning to look a lot like Christmas!!!!  hey, i do not have the embed on this video but it is the cutest thing ever!!!!  Check this link out      http://www.dogwork.com/dogsnow   I am going to try and post a couple of pictures later today or tomorrow.  Now, get out there and shop!!!

I do not have anything to post today but this is the most adorable thing i have seen lately!  It takes a while but wait until you see this baby!!!!  You have to wait half way through to see what I mean!!

I made some beads today, only about seven that are different red and white beads.  You know, the pretty red!!  I love the red color from Lauscha, they have the prettiest red glass of all of the companies.  It is a German glass and boy o boy it is lovely~~  I believe that Troll uses that color because the effetre (murano glass) red transparent is, in my opinion not as pretty.  Oh, i just love glass and all of the glass companies, they all have their special colors!!  Anyway, have a great Saturday night and check out these smarty pants’…..

Anna went to her christmas dance tonight and she looked beautiful!  I hope she keeps that dress pulled up good because Lordy Lordy, the girl is full on top!  Her boyfriend AJ will love dancing with her I am sure.  I told him to keep his eyes straight ahead, yeah right!!!

Hey all, I have calmed down and cleaned out my fridge, and not by eating everything, I mean I really cleaned it out.  i cleaned the stove and the oven and some other odd things.  Today I am going shopping (imagine that after my last post) for a dress for Anna’s Christmas dance.  I am trying to diet and it is not working.  I ate pumpkin pie last night and my mother brought buckeyes to me this morning for everyone.  You know, Ohio is the Ohio buckeye sooooo, we make these delicious concoctions of peanut butter and dipped in chocolate treats that look just like a buckeye that falls from the trees.  They are so fattening but sooooo good.  To top that off, i really want starbucks at the mall, oh what to do?  I had two buckeyes and i am going to have to keep from getting a coffee.  I need to lose about 10 pounds by christmas.  Yeah, i am totally setting myself up for failure but nonetheless, I really need to lose or the rest of the pounds i lost two years ago are going to creep back quickly!!!  HELP!!!  I will be taking more beads to yelton’s on friday!!!  They have new ones in the store probably as of today in the cases.  Check them out!!!!!

Yeah, now if I could only clean like this I would be set!!!!!!  I stole this video from the Ellen show!!!!

Well, how the heck are you all?  I have been hibernating in my house with my hubby and his sore neck!  He is doing great and even though it looks like someone tried to decapitate him, REALLY, it does (not me though, hee hee)!!!!  I bought him a few turtlenecks because his neck looks so menacing.  He actually returned back to work and did not want to scare, or have his employees barf from the nasty looking cut on his neck.  They did not cover it, they glued it shut.  It is over 4 inches long and starts from the center all the way to the right side of his neck, ugh!!!!!  It will heal and in time will not look bad, but for now he will use a turtleneck to cover it for a couple of weeks until it looks a little better and not like a new flesh wound.

I have been torching and check with Yelton’s at the end of the week for beads!  I know you all want to see some pictures and i keep promising them to you so now that thanksgiving and the surgery (ugh, in the same sentence) are over I will get some up, kay?

it has occurred to me that there are some really disturbing things going on in our society that I want to talk about.  I know i try and keep it upbeat but i just have to say that I am appalled at the death of the young man who got trampled on black friday.  So, there are about 2000 people outside the walmart wanting to save money, gosh, even 200.00 on something for Christmas.  They stood and probably were angry that someone is trying to cut in front of them, how dare those people try and get a place in line.  Oh my gosh, it is 5 am and they are a couple minutes late from opening, how dare they do that, don’t they know that those people have been standing out there for ever?  The crowd is getting pushy, hostile and cold!  All the while there is a man inside getting ready for a crazy day of shopping and he has to do his job and open the door for these crazy holiday shoppers.  FLASH FORWARD, he is walking to the door unbeknownst to him that it will be his last walk!  The crowd goes crazy and breaks the glass doors and tramples him to death, NOT ONE PERSON STOPS TO HELP HIM!!!!  They continue on to their item of choice while the police are called and they are doing CPR on him to revive him.  He is pronounced dead and they close the store!   WAIT A MINUTE, they are not going to close the store after these people have been outside all night are they, what about their great deal??????  They even ignored a dying man to get to the worshipped item they so coveted for their very own.  HOW DARE THEY!  They riot and throw a fit that Walmart would close the store because there is a death, THAT THEY ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR………………………………What the @#$@ is wrong with society?  Ok, so someone had to see that the man was lying there and decide to continue on instead of helping.  When has it become ok for everyday citizens to incite this type of behavior.  How can human beings ignore this?  How can a group of people become an angry and frenzied mob?  WHY are we not hearing about this STILL?  This should be on the tv every day until all of those people are brought to justice.  As a society we can watch the media cover Anna Nicole’s death for months and this poor man who was doing his job is killed for a SALE???  Civilized humans that turned into animals by being together in such a crowd and fearing that they might not get their computer or something?  I am ashamed of so many things in this country.  What has happened to tolerance?  What has happened to decency?  What about the Golden Rule?  Are we all not God’s people with a purpose to live a life of goodness?  I guess i am at a loss, please help me out here!!!

PLEASE COMMENT THIS, I would love to have a dialog about what is going on in this world!  I don’t care if you are here for the first time or many times, I would love to know your thoughts about this because it has been on my mind since it happened.  I do not know how we can all be so removed from these horrific things or are we discussing them?  Are we watching a channel that even covers this?  How do we do something about these type of injustices.  You know, I bet many of those people said something along the lines of “Yeah, so I stood for three hours and did not even get the flat screen, I mean, it’s terrible that the guy died but are they going to give us a rain check”?   UUGGGGGHHHHHHH!!!!!!

I am quitting now, negativity has taken over and I have to go eat some pumpkin pie!!!!!
