Alright, so here is one of those stories that you hope is NOT about your daughter, but unfortunately it is!  My daughter Anna and her friend Gretchen were outside playing volleyball when they had this brainy idea of putting GORILLA glue all over their hands!!  Yes, i really meant that, and no, i would not have thought that it would be the thing that they would think of.  You know, remember elmers glue and peeling it off after it dried?  Well, anyway there was a bottle of it in the garage by where they were standing and they thought they would be funny and put it all over the front and the back of their hands and then take it off.  What is truly amazing about this is that not ONE of them but BOTH of them thought this was cool to do.  Uh, things that make you go hmmmmm…..!  I was downstairs making this bead on this post and they came down, “uh, mom, we put gorilla glue on our hands and it will not come off”!  You know the look i got on my face obviously, because it is the same look that most people in the world would get, right?  Now, first let me say that i really never have issues with Anna and her brain, well at least until now.  She has always had pretty good common sense but I am very concerned at this point, lol!!  You know, who does that?  And, do they do it with a glue that has the name Gorilla in it?  Or, do they check the back of the bottle for maybe a reason not to put it all over their hands?  So, that is THREE STRIKES right there.  I mean, i would never think to do that even when i was young and stupid (opposed to how bright i am now), but if i did the bottle would have to read elmers or Lame glue or something, not a strong A@# animal!  So, I had to put acetone, goo gone all over their hands while they picked and picked to get it off.  It took around 4 hours or so, what a great use of their time!!  Okey Dokey, hopefully this takes the cake on stupidity for the future and Anna thinks from now on……??????  Teenagers that get A’s in school and seem to have a great amount of sense and maturity can fool you at ANY time just to see whether you are listening or not, ugh!!!

Volleyball this weekend was long and tedious.  We played 8 games in two days and ended up in 4th out of 8 in their bracket.  Oh well, great exercise for her, thankfully the glue was gone!

I played with some silver glass last night and tried to coax the color out of it and this is what came out of the kiln, they make me smile like each one of them was a stocking under my christmas tree!!  More of this to come!  hey did you all see the woman who was judged by her looks and her angelic voice came out and shocked them all, including Simon???  Her name is Susan Boyle on Britain’s Got Talent!!!  They have blocked all of the embeds for this video so go to www.youtube.com and look her up, it just goes to show not to judge a book by it’s cover!!!  You go girl!!!

Oh yeah, how sweet is this?  a dove has layed its eggs right outside our bedroom door to our hottub so i can stare at her when i am in the hot tub (i am sure she is just sooooo happy about that too)!!  Everyone needs a little peace in their lives, i guess my dove is bringing this to me, well, maybe not, but it sounds good~~ I am hoping for that, i mean, afterall a dove is the sign of peace~She kinda looks like she has a little halo above her head, no i am not hallucinating and doing drugs in the hot tub, it was my attempt at funny ha ha, not funny peculiar~ ok, have a great night everybody~~

Well, we just got home from Gatlinburg and we had a great time.  It was Mark and I, our oldest Amanda and Anna and her friend Sarah.  We spent Easter there and of course the easter bunny found us.  We spent sooo much money and we just had a blast.  i will be back at the torch tomorrow and soon there will be pictures of beads.  off to watch the a list awards!!

Here is one of the beads I made, HOWEVER this one cracked, it is the third time and so i am giving up!  They turn out soooo pretty but there is something in one of the glasses that i use in the bead that is making them crack.  I never have beads crack and I have spent three hours for three cool beads and all three have cracked now!!!  Oh well, what can I do?  I am perplexed!  Have a great night!

Well, I am off to Indianapolis for volleyball for the weekend, i leave around 5 today!  Here are two beads I made inspired by butterflies/moths!  I love them and i was playin around! enjoy

I am loving the sunny outdoors and i had to take some more pictures!  I have finally mastered this silver glass and believe me, this is what it looks like, not much editing needed here.  I cannot wait to see what i can do with this glass.  Also, i took some photos of flowers and my neighbors busy bees!  I love going up to them, i can sit right by them swarming around and they do not even care.  They really are very gentle honey bees, as opposed to their horrible opposites the killer bees.  Oh, and an adorable picture of my loving Max’s eyes, he’s my baby!!!  take care and talk soon!!!!!
