Anna got her braces off and that ends a period of 8 years of orthodontics in our family!  Between Amanda and Anna there has not been a year that we have not been going to Dr. Uhde’s in Harrison Ohio!!!!  I am so thrilled that we are almost finished.  We have to do some bonding on one of anna’s teeth that is smaller than the rest.  They left the space on both sides of the tooth so as to not throw off her bite.  Now we will get that done and then our final visit to have her permanent retainers!!!  I feel like dancing!!!!

Here is a bead that i made yesterday, i actually think this will look great on the fantasy necklace or a leather cord.  Tina from Yelton’s wears a bead in this shape on hers and it looks great!!!!  Ask her about it, chances are she has it on, she wears it alot!! 

Well, it is that time of year for “So you think you can dance” and my oh my i am excited for this season.  There is a guy who is great on popping and locking and hopefully there will be a video soon from last nights episode!  stay tuned

Well, you know how it is when the weather changes, you add so many things to your days that you kinda slack in other areas.   I have been playing with the striking color glass and also other specialty foundation beads for Yelton’s.  With that said, lots of orders and crazy schedules have kept me quite busy!!!  Hope all of you are well!  I still think Adam Lambert should have won, where that came from in this post i do not know, not that i am bitter but he is great.  i cannot wait to see what he does next, oh and chris will do wonderful as well.  i loved the duo with keith urban.  Alrighty then, pics of my house with flowers (yay) and beads!!

okey dokey, that’s it, just plain ol striking color beads, but they look beautiful on a fantasy necklace with other beads and also on the stock!!  Yum, such color to go with all of your other beads.  Let Yelton’s know if you would like to have one!!

In the glass world there is a new glass that is very elusive because the maker cannot make enough to meet the demands so I was truly lucky to get some.  This bead is made out of one color/rod of glass and because it has silver in it and because it is the most amazing glass to ever be made, i am truly happy to post this very basic bead with remarkable colors in it.  You have to finesse the bead with just the right touch of gases and patience to coax these beautiful colors out of one color of glass.  I had to share this with you!  I will be making some beads with this glass so you will be very lucky to get one because it might be a long time before i can get my hands on this glass again.  I had to literally stalk the auction with 1000’s of other people and even if it got into my cart, it was stolen out of my cart before i could pay.  This happened several times but i finally got lucky this last time and i was definately excited.  I shared a pound with a lady in Texas, who was stalking as well!  We thought with the both of us trying maybe, just maybe one of us might get lucky and get some and then we could split it in half.  Have a great night!!!

We had a good mother’s day and i got all of my plants planted and just had a nice day with the family.  I have not been torching lately but starting tomorrow i will be back on the torch for beads to go to Yelton’s next week.  If you have not seen the beads at yelton’s i took for mother’s day, you might want to drop by and see what is there!  Here are some pics:
