I absolutely love bright fun moments in life that make you laugh so hard you cry. So when I decided to make glass beads it was because of my love of color that I associated with “happy feelings”!

Still playing with this glass!!

June 5, 2009

So i am still loving this wonderglass (really “striking color” but it is a wonder) and i have a few more testers to show!!

june3-015.JPGjune3-022.JPGjune5striking-002.JPGfirst one i could not get off the mandrel so i broke it off, but at least i have a picture of it, second one will be at Yelton’s when i go, and third one (bigger) will be there as well.  Along with a couple others from previous posts.  the last bead in the upper part of my hand i kept, i loved the webbing effect i got with it and decided to keep it for myself, hee hee!!!  Hey, you all get everything, i must keep something right???  Oh, also i will be taking black and whites next week to the store.  Do not worry, i will let you all know with a post when they will be there!!!!!

So, my friend and bead lover Ellen Walsh came over to my house to see me and i had to take a snapshot of her because she always is so impeccably dressed with a perfect bead to match.  Here she has on a Troll bead with one of my beads on the bottom.  I loved it!!!  You rock Ellen!!!

    Hi, Stephanie,
OK, I stopped by Yelton’s today just to look. . . and of course, left with one of your wonderglass beads - it has lots of vibrant colors and is long and skinny. Beautiful! Keep up the good work!

Hey, that is the original bead i made and was my favorite bead of all!!!! It is one color that i was able to get the colors coaxed out of it with the flame. It takes some work and patience but it is amazing to get all that color from one color of glass

I thought it was gorgeous. . . also like the purple “light as a feather” bead (also wonderglass). I bought some jewelry at Summer Fair made of lampwork beads. Very nice but I have not found any beads that I really enjoy as much as yours, Stephanie. So keep making those beads!! Glad you found your true artistic calling!!!
