Well, i am still down with flu and it has been since monday evening.  i know it is not the bad one because i do not have high fever and fever has been gone now today.  I am trying to kick the headaches and the body aches.  It is on its way out though, so i will finally be delivering beads.  I have never had something last so long, normally 24-48 hours and that is it.  I think i am also trying to get a sinus infection because i get those and it is acting like one.  I hope this is it for the year, i cannot take much more.  I have been sleeping forever and ready to get back to life.  Sooooo, i took the pictures of the beads i made.  they are a mix of fall colors and this beautiful steel dark blue i am seeing in the clothing right now. i have seen it at j. jill, i have seen it at j. crew and also eddie bauer so i am excited to make something to wear with the new clothes i had to buy.  i mean, i had to!!!  Come on, i cannot have a fabulous color glass and then see something that matches it and not do something about it!!!!  Also there is coral and fall greens and browns and butterscotch, yum yum.  These beads are pretty much simple and to the point (well, no points).  I hope you all love them and want more!!!  Talk soon

Yeah, so, i know i have neglected the site this summer, but hey school is almost back and i will be torching a lot more so there will be more posts and ramblings on…..

Anna and I went to Gatlinburg, just the two of us and we really had a nice time together.  I do have to say though, we are burnt out on that place.  We go too many times and the stuff in all of the stores is the same and well, need i say more?  We really did not want to ride the sky line or the ober gatlinburg tram, or go see dixie stampede and alot of other things.  It just did not have the same magic as fall or spring and i don’t know, we just did a few things and turned in early in our really cold room (our choice) and comfy jammies and watched movies.  Maybe it did not have as much charm because we did not have a cabin but the hampton in gatlinburg was great, our rooms were so comfortable and cozy and of course i love their beds, that is why i always stay there when i travel. 

Amanda will be home in a couple of weeks so i am sooooo excited about that.  She is in Paris and able to text me and i get it almost immediately.  Soooo, she texted me when she got to the top of the Eiffel Tower and when she was looking at the Mona Lisa and at Notre Dame.  It was almost as if i could stop time and sigh thinking “wow, right at this moment she is seeing something historically relevant and I am driving through Kentucky”  Ha ha!!!  I texted her when we passed Paris Kentucky, ha!!!  I miss her dreadfully and she will definately come back a more grown woman.  She has been gone since June 24th!  She is on to Rome, venice, barcelona and madrid!!!  Lucky girl!

This might shock you but there are actually beads in my kiln!  My hiatus is over and my creative juices are flowing.  Look for beads around the 23rd!!!  i will put pics up, oh i know, you are saying “sure she will”, but really I will okay???

I went to the grocery up the street and found out that this little older gentleman comes in there every other day and gives them flowers from his garden to put at the front register.  Today he brought a vase for them!!!  Awwww how sweet is that!  It is a small thing with great outpouring of love that makes the world go around.  Be someones Angel today!!!!
